পুনর্জন্ম

চলো নতুন করে জন্মাই,
নতুন করে হাঁটি, বসি, দৌড়াই,
নতুন উচ্চারণে হাসি।

যখন শব্দের অস্তিত্ব ছিল না,
তখন যেভাবে কথা বলা হতো,
চলো সে ভাষায় কথা বলি...
অন্যরকম যৌবনে এসো,
অদ্ভুত ভালোবাসা বাসি।

তারপর -
চলো সৃষ্টি করি নতুন অভিধান....
নতুন বসন্ত আর বর্ষার সংবিধান।
চলো গড়ে ফেলি প্রেম,
প্রেম
আর প্রেম।
তারপর......
সৃষ্টি করি নতুন এক প্রাগৈতিহাসিক প্রজন্ম।

চলো, ভুলে যাই বর্তমান, অতীত এবং সবকিছুই,
কিংবা মরে যাই।
তারপর.....
চলো নতুন করে জন্মাই.....

Let us be reborn anew,
Walk, sit, run, in ways brand new,
Laugh with words yet to be known,
As in times when words were unsown.
Let's speak in tongues of ancient days,
Where sound alone, its tale conveys.

Come, in a youth of different kind,
Love strangely, leave the past behind,

Then...
Let's forge a lexicon anew,
Spring and monsoon's statutes too,
Let's build a world of love's embrace,
Love, love, and love, in every space.

Then...
Let's birth a prehistoric race,
Forget the present, time and place,
Or fade away, in death's release,

Then...
Let us be reborn in peace...
