উপসংহার

আমাদের আর দেখা হবে না,
তার আগেই মৃত্যু হয়ে যাবে,
এমনকি মৃত্যুর পরেও আমরা মিলিত হব না,
আমাকে জাহান্নামে রাখা হলেও।

তোমার জন্য যে জাহান্নাম বরাদ্দ হবে,
সেটা বেহেশতই বটে,
তুমি প্রেম বোঝোনি...
বুঝেছো শরীর, করেছো সংসার।
শুনেছি সংসার করলে কোনো পাপ হয় না,
হাঁসের পালকে যেমন পানি ধরে না,
তেমনি আজীবন মিথ্যা সঙ্গম করেও
সংসার করলে পাপ ধরে না।
তাই তুমি বেহেশতেই যাবে,
কিন্তু প্রেমিক পাবে না...
আর যেখানে আমাকে পাবে না,
সেটা তো একপ্রকার জাহান্নামই।

আমাকে যে বেহেশতে রাখা হবে,
হ্যাঁ, বিশ্বাস করো, আমাকে বেহেশতেই রাখা হবে।
কেননা, আমি কেবল প্রেমই করেছি পৃথিবীতে,
আমি আমার প্রতিটি সঙ্গমের
ন্যায্য মূল্য পরিশোধ করেছি,
বিনিময়ে স্ত্রীদের থেকে নিয়েছি কষ্ট, যন্ত্রণা,
আর বেশ্যাকে দিয়েছি অর্থ।
আর তাই আমারও কোনো পাপ নেই,
খোদা যেহেতু অবিচার করেন না,
সেহেতু বেহেশত আমার প্রাপ্য,
অথচ, ঐখানে তুমি থাকবে না...

বিশ্বাস করো,
আমাদের আর কোনোদিনই দেখা হবে না,
যেমন করে আমাদের কোনোদিন দেখাই হয়নি।

Death will come before that,
Even after death, we shall not unite,
Even if I am placed in Hell.

The Hell destined for you,
That is indeed Heaven,
You did not understand love...
You understood the body, you made a family.
I've heard there's no sin in making a family,
Just as water doesn't stick to a duck's feather,
Similarly, even after lifelong false cohabitation,
No sin attaches if one makes a family.
So you will go to Heaven,
But you will not find a lover...
And where you will not find me,
That is a kind of Hell.

As for me, I shall be placed in Heaven,
Yes, believe me, I shall be placed in Heaven.
For I have only loved in this world,
I have paid the fair price
For every cohabitation,
In return, I took pain, torment from wives,
And gave money to the prostitute.
And so, I too have no sin,
Since God does not commit injustice,
Heaven is my due,
Yet, you will not be there...

Believe me,
We shall never meet again,
Just as we never truly met.
